ST JAMES Church, Clapham, held a service of re-dedication and confirmation on Sunday.
It followed major repair work, which meant closing the church for five months and raising more than £220,000.
The service was taken by the Right Rev James Bell, Area Bishop for Ripon, and local vicar, Canon Ian Greenhalgh.
Music was provided by Giggleswick and Settle Band and organist Hugh Stalker and the choir added to the celebratory atmosphere.
Five members of the community were also confirmed by Bishop James.
“An excellent congregation and great singing resulted in an excellent celebration of this lovely historic church,” said Canon Greenhalgh.
