ROBIN Greenwood launched his new book, Sharing God's Blessings, after a Solemn Eucharist for Candlemas in Christ Church, Skipton.
Robin, who lives in the town, is William Leech Research Fellow at St John's College, Durham University, and has held posts in parishes, cathedrals and training teams for the past 40 years.
He said that his research led him to conclude that the mission and ministry of churches found their truest transformation through exploring the twin themes of being blessed and the power of simple, face-to-face conversation.
The book was introduced by the Rev Simon Cowling, rector of St Mary and St Cuthbert, Bolton Priory, and copies are available from Cornerstone Bookshop, Newmarket Street, Skipton
Robin is married to Claire, who is also an Anglican priest.
