THIEVES broke into a house in the Gainsborough Court area of Skipton on Tuesday.
Police say the incident occurred between 8.30am and 4.45pm and the thieves fled with a number of items.
"We are conducting inquiries and are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, or has any information about the incident to get in touch," said a police spokesman.
