AN annual festival to help a Silsden man paralysed in a rugby accident will take place at Keighley Rugby Union Football Club this weekend.
The Nathan Cubitt Tag Rugby Festival 2016 kicks off at 10am on Sunday.
Nathan broke his neck, aged 16, during a match while playing for his under 17s team in 2011.
His family and other supporters set up an appeal called the Nathan Cubitt Trust to raise money for his care costs.
A spokesman for the trust, which is organising this year's tag rugby festival, said: "We have our fingers crossed for the weather once again this year, and are hoping for another great fun day for all the players, fans and families.
"This is a family fun day and the main aim is to raise money for Nathan, as this is his main fundraising event of the year."
At least 16 teams will compete in the festival. Off-field events include a variety of stalls, a baker, children's entertainers and a face painter.
