CRAVEN teams are dominating the Ribblesdale League’s Cup Competitions.
Earby, Settle and Barnoldswick are all through to the semi-finals of the Ramsbottom Cup, while the second teams of Barnoldswick and Earby are in the last four of the Lawrenson Cup.
Settle, bidding for a league and cup double, had overseas player Imran Khalid to thank for their four-wicket win over Whalley.
He made 102 not out – his fourth century of the season – as they chased down Whalley’s 241-6 with nine balls to spare.
They will now visit Earby who beat Brinscall by 63 runs after opener Chris Walton had made a splendid 130 and pro Dave Crotty 86 in a total of 269-5.
Barnoldswick also had a century maker in their impressive nine-wicket win over Euxton. Abdul Saddique made 125 not out and Matt Nutter (81) as they overhauled a challenging 251-8. They will now be at home to Oswaldtwistle Immanuel who beat Cherry Tree by six wickets.
An unbeaten 108 from Andy Jaggers helped Earby 2nds to 243-9 as they defeated Brinscall by 141 runs in the Lawrenson Cup.
Macauley Cunningham made 43 and Nathan Taylforth (38) as Barnoldswick made 216-9 in their32-run win over Clitheroe. Taylforth took 3-15 as Clitheroe were dismissed for 184.
