CROSSFLATTS beat Embsay 2-0 in a bowl out to secure a Wynn Cup semi-final away to holders Bingley Congs.

Crossflatts batted first and when Dom Bennett was dismissed for 50 the score stood at 92-7. Enter Vikram Bakshi and in his customary style he hit four fours and six sixes in his 61 to go with Jim O’Hara’s 37 which boosted the score to 217-9, as Scott Robinson took 3-22.

The Shires Laners were handily placed on 79-2 off 20 overs when play was washed out.

Sutton dismissed Ingrow for 97 in 24 overs with Chris Herbert top scoring with 23. In the reply of 98-3, Ryan Ridehalgh made 53. Sutton's opponents in the semi-finals will be Wilsden.

Over at Gargrave the home side collapsed from 140-3 to 149 all out.

John Beckwith made 65 as Ben Reynard claimed 3-12 and Sam Mitchell (3-33). The Windy Grove side lost seven wickets reaching their target led by Rafaquat Mehmood (44) and Doug Richardson (32) as Joe Wood claimed 3-12.

The semi-finals on Sunday, July 17 will be Bingley Congs v Crossflatts and Sutton v Wilsden.
