MAY’S Grassington Trail Race saw an astonishing £2,093.91 raised.
The funds raised are being used to refurbish the library at Grassington Primary School
Runners enjoyed the beautiful five-mile circular, which covered the multi-terrain loop with stunning views, followed by a family fun day with a bouncy castle, children’s races, games and even more entertainment.
A representative of the event said: “This event could not have been a success without the generosity of so many. A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who marshalled, donated, raced, volunteered and joined us on the day. Save the date for next year’s trail race, which will be on Sunday 19 May 2024.”
